Match Day Graphics

Making the graphic for upcoming matches and match day was one of my key responsibilities. I spent my spare time during pre-season teaching myself the different editing tools on Canva and trying different styles to see what suited the club colours and badge best

Pre-Match Sponsor pictures

Capturing sponsor pictures when available was important for the clubs public image and sponsored partners. This picture shows attacking players Curtis Bateson and Nicky Walker with a special edition Prostate Cancer UK shirt ahead of a Northern Premier East Division fixture. This shirt was posted on the clubs media channels and was up for auction where fans could place bids on the shirt which had been signed by that days match squad, with the winning bid being donated by the club

lIVE Goals

This is one of the goals I managed to capture during the 2024/25 Lincolnshire County Cup Final Vs National League North Scunthorpe United at Lincoln City’s ProAmpac Stadium (formally Sincil Bank & LNER Stadium). This was my first experience at a cup final, Scunthorpe came into the game chasing the playoffs looking to return to the National League at the second attempt. The game finished 3-3 after 90 minutes with Cleethorpes coming from behind three times, Scunthorpe won the game 3-0 on penalties to win the trophy for the second successive year.

Champions

At the end of the 24/25 Cleethorpes were officially confirmed as champions of the Northern Premier East Division after a dominant 0-3 win Vs Carlton Town. It was the clubs first time being promoted into the Northern Premier League and I had a great time recording and taking pictures of the celebrations, then editing them for fans and for the clubs media pages. Changing the clubs media to ‘(C)leethorpes Town’ and posting about the trophy presentation helped keep the buzzing atmosphere around the club and the ground.

Stats

After the club got promoted to the Northern Premier League I felt I had to try and match the same standard of media out put. I started by doing some research on out next opponents previous games and start making stat graphics to post on our social media sites. Going through other teams results and stats helped me greatly in educating myself about the division and teams in the same division. Posting stats also gives the fans a better insight into the team they’re visiting or welcoming.

Merchandise

During the pre-season I designed the new poster for the 25/26 home kit, something that I felt very proud of. It was highly praised for it’s standard and boldness by the clubs directors. Once this was posted and the club were receiving orders from fans, I had the opportunity to take some photo of some players in the new shirt at the ground to be posted as a further advert of the clubs merchandise. Creating this kind of poster allowed me to practise with other editing tools to help create the best product for the club.
